2012 GSC Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG Kit

Finishing specialists, German Special Customs, have developed a new aerodynamic assembly kit designated with the nickname 'Stealth' to fit the current AMG CLS63 models.

The sportiness and elegance of the AMG remains, the additional aerodynamic accessories are subtly nestled into the outer body.

 

However, the kit makes the front of the AMG CLS63 series look a lot more aggressive and gives the impression of a broader frame thanks to the new bumper, new hood and other accessories. The bumper features integrated daytime LED running lights.

German Special Customs make their mark clear on the grill which has been proudly decorated with their emblem.

Engine

A broad shaft in the new engine hood ensures the hot air produced by the 5.5 liter Biturbo V8 engine is disposed of appropriately. Additionally, the broadness of the AMG CLS63 is accentuated via new side skirts and new mud guards.

It's not just the front end that has been styled into a more aggressive looking machine. A new rear bumper, built with an integrated diffuser, made from carbon fiber, air outlets and a four-pipe steel exhaust system with angular end-pipes also adds to the aggressiveness.

Performance

 

As well as the many aerodynamic component upgrades, the CLS63 AMG has also received a performance upgrade to 750 hp and it can now achieve a maximum of 848 ft lbs of torque produced by V8 Biturbo engine displacement.

To achieve the additional 225 hp, an additional water cooler, a larger set of turbochargers and a new exhaust has been added. The additional power output means that the CLS63 can go from 0-60 mph sprint in 3.7 seconds! Maximum speed is said to reach 217 mph.

Wheels

To avoid the loss of traction that comes with the increase in power, a new set of 20" rims have been provided along with a KW coilover on the CLS63's front axle, with adjustable suspension capabilities. The Stealth kit also comes fitted with 255/30R20 tires on the front and 295/25R20 tires on the rear.

2012 Ferrari 458 Italia China Special Edition.

This special edition Ferrari 458 Italia celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Ferrari brand presence in China. There is no better way to commemorate the milestone than to present the 2012 Ferrari 458 Italia China Special Edition.

A limited edition, that only twenty cars are being made. This 458 Italia was introduced at the Ferrari exhibit in World Expo Park in Shanghai, on April 2012.

Engine & Performance

The Ferrari 458 Italia is a V8, rear wheel drive engine with a zero to sixty mph performance of 3.4 seconds capability. It features a seven speed dual clutch transmission for automatic clutching with a manual clutch feel. The 458 Italia rear mid-engine has direct fuel injection and record-setting power in its class, while getting a combined 21/mpg.

A state of the art braking system combines ABS technology with specially engineered features that reduce braking delay and provide smooth, precision braking. The 62 to zero braking distance is an impressively short 107 feet.

 

Exterior

The aerodynamically optimized coupe's body design was created by the legendary Italian auto design company Pininfarina. This special edition of Ferrari's sportiest car is painted in a special "Marco Polo" red paint with a black stripe featuring a gold dragon on the hood, trimmed in gold. Gold winglets and gold 5 spoke rims compliment the dragon theme, along with black and gold lower body detailing.

Interior

The 458 Italia China Special Edition's black leather interior is customized with liberal use of red accents. The headrests feature gold embroidery with gold piping on the seats. The Special Edition features many controls on the steering wheel and top ergonomic design for maximum performance to go with driver and passenger comfort. A 20th Anniversary Special Edition plaque is included in the dash.

Many of the 458 Italia's design features were incorporated into the car after extensive interviewing and input from Formula One race car drivers. Some of the award-winning design features include wishbone suspension for improved cornering, aeroelastic winglets to reduce drag at high speed, and polycarbonate elements to reduce weight.

The Ferrari 458 Italia China Special Edition is marketed as the "vigor and spirit of the legendary dragon horse". With only 20 made, it's a collector's dream Ferrari.
