2012 Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599 SA Aperta

Ferrari cars are already a class of their own. However, some tuners are able to harness more from the Prancing Horse, creating a superfast, super-exclusive car. This is the case for the 2012 Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599 SA Aperta, perhaps the most exclusive tuner of the 599.
There are a lot of things that make this 599 stand out even from the already awesome standards set by the stock 599. Using the 599 convertible as a base canvas, they have made the SA Aperta into perhaps the fastest convertible in existence today.

Aerodynamic Body
The already aerodynamic body shell of the 599 was made more aerodynamic by the exclusive body kit created by Novitec Rosso to fit for the SA Aperta. Novitec Rosso wheels are equipped in this car, employing a staggered stance (21 inches in the front, 22 inches in the rear). An interesting note is that these wheels are among the lightest in the world for their respective size. And with a sport suspension that lowers and firms the ride for optimal handling, this is a vehicle that is ready to rumble.

The Engine
Adding punch to the already menacing base V12 engine of the 599 are modified intake and exhaust manifolds, an upgraded fuel injection system, new mufflers, an updated ECU, and 2 superchargers boost the already incredible output of the 599’s engine to an astounding 888 horsepower.

Mazda Takeri Concept

Mazda, with their Zoom-Zoom ethos, has always sought for ways to improve their technology. And during the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, that ethos was in full effect with their theme “Environmental Technology, Pushing the boundaries of the emotion of motion”.
With their new concept, the 2011 Mazda Takeri, they are integrating their new style concept into the sedan.

Design
The Takeri employs Mazda’s new design language: Soul of Motion. This imparts sharpness that can only be seen on a few cars outside Mazda. True to its design language, they have managed to create a sedan that has a strong beauty and identity. Not only that, this body is both lightweight and aerodynamic, enhancing both performance and efficiency.

Technology
But don’t think for a second that this car is just for style, as this car has an abundance of substance too. It employs a lot of Mazda’s new SKYACTIV technology. The SKYACTIV-D engine, a new diesel engine, provides more than adequate performance, fuel efficiency, and smoothness for the Takeri.

Performance
But Mazda did not stop there, to deliver maximum efficiency new technologies are used to further improve this engine’s fuel efficiency potential. Regenerative braking converts kinetic energy produced from braking into electricity used to power the car’s electrical system. Together with an idling stop system, these electronic gadgets allow for optimal fuel economy.

The 2011 Mazda Takeri concept car was able to create a bold statement. If this is the sign of things to come for Mazda, we can expect some really unique and efficient vehicles in the not so distant future.

2011 Brabus Mercedes Benz SLS Roadster

By itself, the Mercedes Benz SLS is already a superb automobile, as close to perfection that a sports car can possibly achieve. But in the hands of tuner company Brabus, they have elevated the already high standards of this car to another level.
So what makes the 2011 Brabus Mercedes Benz SLS Roadster special?

Design
Hanging on to their reputation for “style and performance”, Brabus has gone on to transform the SLS convertible into their definition of the ultimate SLS. The aerodynamic kit that Brabus used for the SLS used for the coupe is modified to adapt to the convertible’s different aerodynamic characteristics. As usual, the aerodynamic parts are made of carbon fiber, on par with what’s used on race cars.
If that doesn’t sound lightweight enough, custom made 21 inch Brabus forged wheels further saves weight from the body. Brabus developed a suspension in partnership with Bilstein, provides a perfect compromise between razor sharp handling on the track and proper shock absorbing on the road. A front lift system allows the front to be raised to avoid obstacles such as speed humps to avoid damage.
Performance
Then Brabus proceeded to modifying the engine with their B63 S Tuning Kit. Featuring new ECU settings and a high performance exhaust system that is enough to raise the output of the SLS engine into 611 horsepower, which is not a small amount in any stretch of the imagination.

Combine all that with a fully customizable high quality interior, and you get the 2011 Brabus Mercedes Benz SLS Roadster, a car that is special in almost every single way.

2012 H&R Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Project Legend.

Legends are hard to come by, especially in the automotive world. These slots are usually occupied by super exclusive vehicles that defy the limits of their time, but there are cars that were able to achieve legend status by performing superbly while being affordable. One of these legends is the Ford Mustang.
As a salute to the legend, H&R Springs created a limited edition Mustang. This is the 2012 H&R Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Project Legend.

H&R
H&R has been known as a manufacturer who has been able to produce time and again American cars inspired by European tuning techniques. However, it deserves to be noted that compared to most tuner cars, H&R made an effort to retain the natural essence of the Mustang.
Of course, as one of the best makers of suspension components in the world, H&R focused on the suspension department. Thanks to updated coil-overs and sway bars that have been tested in perhaps the world’s toughest race track, the Nurburgring, this endows the Project Legend quick cornering, sharp response and optimal feedback. And when coupled with 20 inch OZ Raffaello III wheels in both the front and rear, this car’s stance is formidable.

2011 PORSCHE BOXSTER S BLACK EDITION

Tired of the old Porsche Boxster that looks like the Toyota MR-S? Well, this all new Boxster S Black Edition breaks the mold. Black is beauty. This two-seater open-roof car combines the appeal of a powerful engine and dramatic styling.

To be launched on March 2011 with only 987 available worldwide, this Boxster lives accordingly with its name. The rear side intake grilles as well as the twin tailpipe are painted in black. The door entry is in stainless steel which adds a classier feel on the car. The interior is still stylish in black. The steering wheel, dashboard, shift lever or gear selector, the dials on the instrument cluster as well as the partial leather seats are all in black.

It has a 3.4-litre six-cylinder engine with direct fuel injection for greater power and efficiency. Its output is 320 hp. The revised engine reaches its rated power at 7,200 rpm. Peak torque of 370 Nm - boosted by 10 Newton meters - is available at 4,750 rpm. With its standard six-speed manual transmission, it accelerates from 0-62 mph in 5.2 seconds. This extra performance has not been achieved at the expense of fuel economy, however, for the Porsche Boxster S Black Edition contents itself with as much fuel as the Boxster S: 28.8 mpg Combined (NEDC).

2011 BMW M6 Hurricane RR G POWER

The world’s fastest 4 seat coupe, the G-Power BMW M6 Hurricane RR, a car capable of reaching a top speed of nearly 370km/h (229mph). It has twin superchargers called the ASA T1-316 radial supercharger reaching 800hp, a development of the previous SK III RS bi-supercharger system that has 750hp. But the performance of the G-Power BMW M6 Hurricane RR doesn’t stop from top speed alone.

It has incredible acceleration, in less than 4 seconds it can reach a speed of up to 100km/h. Aerodynamics play an important role as well; this car has been equipped with a carbon fiber front skirt and spoiler in the rear to generate greater aerodynamic down force at high speeds. In addition to its high-speed capability is its G-POWER RS coil over sports suspension together with its high-end braking system called the G-POWER high performance braking system.
Because of its incredible top speed and superior acceleration this car is nearly as fast as a hurricane, a very fast car.

2011 The Porsche 911 Turbo

The Porsche 911 is a timeless classic that is a trendsetter in more ways than one. For one, it has fundamentally never changed since 1964, and yet it is still one of the best touring cars around. A true “everyday supercar”, it is a perfect balance of speed, practicality, and innovation. One of the most popular models in the 911 line is the Turbo.
As the name suggests, it uses a turbocharger to boost engine output ay at least 25 percent. Starting in 1976, the 911 Turbo cars have always been one of the fastest vehicles in the world during their time. And now, 35 years later, the tradition of the Turbo lives with the 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S, the most powerful 911 Turbo yet.

The 2011 Turbo S is based on the current generation Porsche 911, the 997. And according to the guys from Stuttgart, Germany themselves, this is for the driver that only settles for the best. While it looks like the ordinary Porsche 911 Turbo, this is made to be head and shoulders better to the already competitive Turbo.

Performance
Of course, the star of the show is the same 6 cylinder boxer engine that powered the 911. Also, befitting its name, it is equipped with a turbocharger that significantly boosts experience. But it doesn’t stop there. There are 2 turbochargers found in this car, each equipped with variable turbine geometry. This increases the already impressive numbers of the 911 Turbo into 530 horsepower (a 30hp increase from the Turbo) and 516 lb/ft of torque. But the incredible thing is, despite its ferocious output, it is the most fuel efficient car in its class, knocking in an estimated 25 miles per gallon, which is super impressive given its performance credentials. And performance credentials are something that this car has a lot of.
So, here are some of those performance credentials. Zero to 100 kilometers per hour comes in 3.3 seconds, zero to 200 kilometers per hour comes in 10.8 seconds, and top speed is rated at over 300 kilometers an hour. Those are numbers that are well within supercar territory. Even more amazing about the 911 Turbo S is that it is equipped standard with the features that are optional even for the 911 Turbo. Some of the equipment includes the critically acclaimed Porsche PDK 7 speed dual clutch gearbox, a specialized 4 wheel drive system with torque vectoring, and ceramic composite brakes.

Exterior & Interior
Even though it is a punishing, no compromise sports car, it doesn’t lack the flair and elegance that Porsche traditionally has. Dynamic bending lights, adaptive seats, a premium entertainment system, and a custom two tone leather upholstery schemes makes sure that the driver feels at home while using this vehicle.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S is a unique car. It is every bit worth the price. As one of the most exclusive Porsche 911s ever built, it is a top tier model in every sense of the word.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder

Even before the Los Angeles Auto Show, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder was revealed in an invite-only off-site venue on November 16, 2011, as part of several days of festivities surrounding the said event. It is a convertible version of the rear-wheel drive Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni Edition.

Performance
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder is powered by longitudinally-mounted 5.2 liter V-10 engine with 550 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque mated to either six-speed e-gear or six-manual gearbox transmission. The six-speed manual gearbox is a standard feature, while the Semi-Automatic, Electronic-gearbox transmission system is obtained as an option. It is able to sprint from standstill to 100 km/hour in only 4.2 seconds, with the top speed reaching up to 317 km/hour.

Exterior & Interior
This model has a slightly lower weight than the previous Gallardo models weighing at 3,351 lbs resulting to 47-43 front-to-rear distribution. It has a low body profile with a ground clearance of five inches, which improves the dynamics of the car due to its low center point of gravity. Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder has a standard wheel of 19-inch units shod with Pirelli P Zero rubber.
The sophisticated features of this car include heated seats, front air conditioning system and a dual zone climate control. The standard safety features includes an anti-lock braking system, front dual-stage air bags and traction control. A wind deflector is installed behind the seats to make roofless driving less noisy.

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder is estimated to be in production by the summer of 2012 in the US. The price is expected to be a few thousand dollars more than the Valentino Balboni edition.

2011 Nissan Esflow Concept

The 2011 Nissan Esflow Concept is one of the highly innovative cars released by Nissan Motors. The Esflow is basically created to regulate the use of “Zero Emission”. The latter is considered as Nissan’s advocacy program for environmental awareness. Unlike most sports cars, the Esflow is not classified as an existing Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicle.

The Esflow’s overall design was derived from an existing technology. The aluminum chassis is made from “power train units” which are commonly installed in the Nissan LEAF. The Esflow comes in a “rear-wheel” driving system which allows the running of two motors simultaneously. The car’s vibrant proportions are carefully attached above the rear-wheel’s axis to create a “mid-ship position”. The car’s battery packs are made from “Lithium-Ion” which is also found in the Nissan LEAF. The battery packs are placed along the front axis in the rear wheels.

The Esflow’s interior features play a very significant role in ecology today. The car’s cabin has a clean appearance and the rest of the interior components are tightly upholstered with steel frames. The seats meanwhile are made from upholstered gold suede and leather. The doors are thoroughly trimmed with dark blue suede colors for sophisticated look.

2011 Porsche 991 Carrera

The Porsche 911 is one of the most successful and prominent models in the history of sports cars. Often described as a luxury sports coupe, the original Nine Eleven model has undergone various changes since its inception in the early 1960’s. Nonetheless, the rear-engine, independent rear suspension and the Carrera’s unique looks have largely remained the same. After five incarnations of the distinct 911 design, Porsche has revealed the new flagship model of the company – the 991.

Performance
As the succeeding model for the outgoing 997, the 991 Carrera will have a 3.4-liter engine that is very much capable of producing up to 345 hp. The current direct injection from the Carrera S will also be available. BMW 328 Hommage

The BMW 328 is one of the greatest cars that ever came out of this fabled brand’s stable. Made from 1936 to 1940, this car was ahead of its time, winning the Mille Miglia in 1938 and stamping its class all over its rivals. Now, in commemoration of this car’s 75th year anniversary, BMW created the 2011 BMW 328 Hommage.
The BMW 328 Hommage is in essence, a version of the legendary 328 using the technological advances of this era. A modern interpretation of the original design by Fritz Fiedler and Rudolf Schleicher, it incorporates the essence of the original in many ways.

This roadster’s body is made mostly of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), which gives this car a weight of 1720 pounds, an incredible value for any car of any era. The design cues of this car are created to make the impression of being flat, wide, and dynamic.
A race car inspired interior composed of carbon fiber, aluminum, and leather reminds those inside the car of its heritage. A3.0 liter straight-6 engine was used to propel this concept, and light alloy wheels plants this car to the ground.

While this car is almost sure to never make it to the assembly line, the 2011 BMW 328 Hommage has accomplished its mission: to pay homage to one historic BMW vehicle, the legendary 328.
